Product Description
Industrial Helical Gearbox uses a set of cylindrical gears whose teeth are not parallel to the turning axis. The teeth are a section of a helix that appears to be transforming power between axes at right angles or parallel angles. It can handle more load than spur gears because the helical gear tooth is diagonally positioned and therefore effectively larger. For the same tooth size and equivalent width, it will provide superior strength. The most common use for this is in automotive transmissions. Industrial Helical Gearbox is ideal for high speed applications because they suffer from less friction and wear than other gears, but they are still capable of transferring significant amounts of force.
